Teijin Smart Safety will be launching a brand new product that is specially designed for firefighters. Next to the new product launch, the team will be showcasing the Active Cooling Vest and the SmartShoulder.
With a focus on the health and safety of workers in high risk areas such as in firefighting, within the medical field and in the industry, Teijin has developed a innovative body cooling solution. The technology present on the Active Cooling Vest allows for constant and more effective body cooling when comparing to other cooling vests available on the market.
The SmartShoulder is a smart safety vest that is equipped with three LED's that can automatically adjust the brightness according to its surrounding environments. The sensor detects what are the current lighting conditions around the vest, and then changes the brightness to the desired level. If a sudden loss of lighting occurs, the vest automatically switches it on to provide instant lighting.
Many firefighters want a system that allows them to track individuals within a building in real time. Teijin Smart Safety was able to build a functioning solution to track and trace firemen inside an indoor environment after many years of development. The Indoor Situational Awareness system works with a sensor on the firefighter's foot and a control unit that sends the firefighter's real-time 3D location to a tablet held by the commanding officer.
We will be showcasing three of our products at Interschutz 2022. There you will able to see live demonstrations and get the opportunity to try our Active Cooling Vest and the SmartShoulder. The 2022 version of Interschutz will be taking place at the Messegelände in Hannover, Germany.
The event will be happening from the 20th until the 25th of June.
